What SIKLIST stores in your browser, how consent-controlled analytics works, which third parties receive data, and how to change your choice.

This notice describes the current SIKLIST website. It will be updated when we add services such as email subscriptions, accounts, advertising, or private contact forms.
Information stored in your browser
SIKLIST stores your analytics-consent choice in your browser’s local storage under siklist_cookie_consent. This lets the site remember whether you selected “Accept all” or “Essential only.” The setting stays on your device until you clear site data or reset it below.
Google Analytics
SIKLIST uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate use of the site, such as pages viewed, approximate traffic sources, device/browser information, and engagement. We use this information to improve guides and navigation, not to sell reader profiles.
Analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization are denied by default. If you accept analytics, the site updates analytics-storage consent. Advertising-related consent remains denied. The implementation also requests IP anonymization and sends the page path rather than intentionally sending names, email addresses, or other direct identifiers.

Search Console and hosting
Google Search Console provides aggregate information about how SIKLIST appears in search results. The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process ordinary request information needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, and security signals.
Links to other websites
Guides link to manufacturers, public authorities, research, community discussions, and other external resources. Those sites set their own privacy practices. Following a link takes you outside SIKLIST.
Change your analytics choice
You can clear the saved SIKLIST choice and show the consent banner again. This affects this browser and device only.
Questions and future changes
A private contact address will be added here once the editorial mailbox is configured. Until then, do not post privacy requests or sensitive personal information in the public GitHub issue tracker.
